About Us:

A busy full‑service flower shop with a staffed front counter, heavy walk‑in traffic, weddings, events and weekly accounts.

Position Summary:

We’re hiring a full‑time/ part time Floral Designer with professional experience creating beautiful retail arrangements, fulfilling website orders, managing weekly accounts, and producing wedding/event florals. Must be comfortable serving walk‑in customers at the front counter (no phone or POS duties required). Availability for extra hours, weekends and holidays required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and assemble fresh floral products to shop standards (bouquets, arrangements, every day designs, sympathy work, wedding work,, corsages)
  • Recreate and adapt arrangements from website photos and product descriptions
  • Serve walk‑in customers at the front counter (no phone or POS handling)
  • Fulfill weekly/recurring accounts and subscription orders
  • Plan, prepare and install wedding and event florals ( deliveries, installs, breakdowns)
  • Package items for delivery/pickup and coordinate with drivers
  • Maintain fresh inventory, refrigeration and flower care.
  • Assist with merchandising and front‑of‑store displays to maximize sales
  • Work flexible schedule; extra hours for events, holidays and peak seasons

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years professional floral design experience in a retail/full‑service shop
  • Strong customer‑facing skills; comfortable assisting walk‑in clients
  • Solid design sense, knowledge of flowers, mechanics and care
  • Experience with weddings/events and fulfilling recurring orders
  • Able to lift 30–50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work under time pressure
  • Reliable, punctual, team‑oriented, with strong communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license preferred
