Restaurant Cashier (Food & Beverage)

Location: Zorba the Greek

Hours: 4:00 PM – 8:30 PM (Flexible shifts Sunday–Saturday)

Job Description:

Zorba the Greek is looking for a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team! This role is perfect for someone who enjoys engaging with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a love for great Greek food. You’ll be the first point of contact for our customers, helping create a welcoming and positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take and process customer orders in person and over the phone
• Accurately bag and prepare to-go orders, ensuring all items are included
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front counter area
• Restock supplies as needed throughout your shift
• Clear and wipe down tables after customers finish
• Help maintain overall cleanliness of the restaurant, including front entrance
• Provide excellent customer service with a positive, team-oriented attitude

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Friendly, outgoing, and dependable personality
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail, especially with order accuracy
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally
• Prior experience is a plus, but not required
